At Kendriya Vidyalaya Barkuhi, safety, disaster preparedness, and emergency management are given high priority. The school implements Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and follows guidelines from the National Disaster Management Authority to ensure a safe and secure learning environment for students and staff.

The SOPs cover areas such as fire safety, first aid, evacuation protocols, handling natural disasters, and emergency response during unforeseen situations. Regular drills, awareness sessions, and training programs are conducted to familiarize students and staff with safety procedures and disaster management practices.
