At Kendriya Vidyalaya Barkuhi, the Youth Parliament program provides students with a platform to understand democratic processes, governance, and parliamentary functioning. It aims to develop skills such as public speaking, critical thinking, debating, and leadership, helping students become informed, confident, and responsible citizens.
Students actively participate in mock parliamentary sessions, debates on current affairs, discussions, and drafting resolutions, simulating real legislative procedures. Teachers guide students in research, presentation, and effective communication, fostering analytical abilities, teamwork, and self-confidence.
Through the Youth Parliament initiative, Kendriya Vidyalaya Barkuhi cultivates civic awareness, democratic values, and leadership qualities, preparing students to engage thoughtfully with social issues and contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
